  • Perfect London layover private tour
Thank you Rob at Black Cab Heritage Tours for helping us coordinate a four hour tour of the highlights of London. It was the best way to spend our layover! I would fully recommend William Berry. He really went out of his way to provide us with a memorable trip. It was obvious that he has years of experience. He’s full of interesting information that you won’t hear on the hop on hop off busses. William even stopped at Harrod’s for my last minute souvenir shopping. I highly recommend Black Cab Heritage Tours. The experience gave us a taste of London that has us looking forward to our next trip. See you soon!

  • We booked a tour with Bill (William Berry) for our arrival night in London. It was our first visit to this beautiful city. It’s difficult to put into words how wonderful our tour was. Bill loves his job, his city, his country…and it shows. His knowledge of the history and sights is absolutely immeasurable. He was friendly, kind, flexible, and professional. This was so much more than driving around and stopping for photo ops. Bill personalized the tour for us. The information that Bill shared during our tour made our entire visit so much more meaningful! It was a perfect welcome to this perfect city and made our entire trip far better than we could have imagined. Thank you!

  • I used Black Cab Heritage last year for a Bath, Stonehenge, tour & was so impressed I used them this year again for a custom tour of Cliffs of Dover. It was amazing. The driver was courteous and knowledgeable not to mention accommodating. Best tour and highly recommended

  • We booked BCHT for the Illuminated Bridge tour and were driven around by William Berry in his Mercedes people mover, he even took us to Waterloo to catch our train – what service!
William appeared very knowledgeable, showing us lots of different areas alongside the Thames as well as the illuminated bridges. As a result we’ve made some notes of places to revisit in the daylight..
Rob seems to have the bookings/paperwork well under control and William had nothing but praise for the company.

Black Cab Heritage Tours is Good to Go!

At Black Cab Heritage Tours we place the highest priority on the health and welfare of our customers, team and the wider community. This is particularly the case during the current COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.  It may be a little while before our guests arrive from overseas, as the UK Government recently announced the current 14-day quarantine period remains in place for inbound tourists - to be reviewed every 3 weeks.  We have, however, started to offer a limited number of private tour options as of Saturday 4 July, initially to singles, couples and small nuclear family groups - and we continue to accept future reservations.

Our approach is in line with the most recent guidance issued by the UK government, and additional advice from the World Health Organisation. We have also put in new health and safety measures in order to promote social distancing and to limit all non-essential face-to-face contact, which has been recognized by Visit Britain as "Good to Go!"
