Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral (Magna Carta) Day Excursion

Dive right into the English Countryside to gloat at two mega sights, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral.
Stand at the pre-historic circle of gigantic stones at Stonehenge and give yourself a moment…or several.

Draw up your own theories…try figuring it out. Historians have been scratching their heads to decode its mysteries since years. Then hang out in the fabulous museum of the new visitor centre. Pore over the displays and fill your head with facts on religious rituals, artefacts and stories.
What an enigma of Neolithic times!

Down it with a drink and a hearty lunch at a traditional Country Pub along the River Avon. Postcard setting or what?
Get theatrical during the short drive to Salisbury Cathedral.

There’s a surprise in store at the 13th-century Gothic masterpiece. Neck craning in order at the tallest spire in Great Britain. In the esteemed company of the Magna Carta, signed back in 1215, mull over this. Democracy made a debut right here.

The theme of today is world records, right? So how about the oldest working medieval clock in the world? End with tea in a pretty glass-roofed refectory under the 400-foot spire!

Take a suggestion. pre-order and pre-purchase your skip-the-line tickets to Stonehenge with us.
You shouldn’t be working for anything on a holiday.

Black Cab Heritage Tours is Good to Go!

At Black Cab Heritage Tours we place the highest priority on the health and welfare of our customers, team and the wider community. This is particularly the case during the current COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.  It may be a little while before our guests arrive from overseas, as the UK Government recently announced the current 14-day quarantine period remains in place for inbound tourists - to be reviewed every 3 weeks.  We have, however, started to offer a limited number of private tour options as of Saturday 4 July, initially to singles, couples and small nuclear family groups - and we continue to accept future reservations.

Our approach is in line with the most recent guidance issued by the UK government, and additional advice from the World Health Organisation. We have also put in new health and safety measures in order to promote social distancing and to limit all non-essential face-to-face contact, which has been recognized by Visit Britain as "Good to Go!"
